N95 1870 review Dec 20, 2009 I've purchased these masks to protect against H1N1 onboard of flights. I did quite a bit of research before to find out which mask might provide good level of protection against flu and H1N1 and ended up with the 3M 1870 mask. I've been quite satisfied with it so far, I wore it a couple of times already on flights. When everybody is sneezing and coughing, it gives you a feel of comfort you are protected. The mask is quite comfortable and high profile compared to other masks which I've tried as well. People might stare at you though and ask why you wear such a serious looking mask. If you can overcome this problem then this mask is great of use and I can only recommend it. And one more advice: cheap and the so called hygienic masks you can buy everywhere would not give you sufficient protection should there be a real disease.

Not for long hours of wear Aug 22, 2008 I bought these for flying and they are well made but are too warm and suffocating to be worn for hours.
